Meet Chris
Chris Sander is a sixth-generation Missourian with deep roots in his community. Born and raised in St. Louis County, he graduated from Hazelwood West High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Missouri. He has been a small business owner in St. Charles County for 27 years and is an active member of Birthright St. Charles, Our Savior Lutheran Church, and the St. Charles County Historical Society.
Chris previously served two terms as a Missouri State Representative from Jackson County and is now running again to represent St. Charles. While in the General Assembly he served on key committees, including the Budget Committee, and championed major investments in public safety, infrastructure, and community health. His accomplishments include securing funding for a new radio system for the Lone Jack Fire Department, $500,000 for the Lone Jack Historical Society, resources to combat fentanyl and opioid abuse, and leadership in efforts to repave Highway 7 and rebuild Interstate 70.
Beyond legislative work, Chris is known for rolling up his sleeves locally. He led volunteer efforts that removed over 600 bags of trash from the Hwy 50 and I-70 median, supported fellow Republican candidates door-to-door, and served on the County Party Central Committee. Drawing on decades of business experience and a proven record of public service, Chris Sander brings a blend of fiscal responsibility, community focus, and hands-on leadership to his campaign for the Missouri House of Representatives.
